Sam Gilbreath

Hey, I'm Sam! I grew up a little north of Memphis, TN, and trusted in Jesus at a young age. I wasn't very close to Jesus until my teens when I realized my daily need for His mercy and grace. I am thankful for spiritual mentors and youth ministers who consistently pointed me toward the Lord.

Later, God called me to Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry. While at college I married Summer, my amazing wife, who has always had my back. After Clear Creek, I received my Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Liberty University. While finishing my Master's degree, Summer and I welcomed our firstborn son, Bear, into the world!

Some of my interests and hobbies are playing guitar, telling dad jokes, winning tennis matches against my wife, and drinking coffee with friends. Also, I may have degrees in ministry and theology, but I specialize in Nerf Wars!

I am excited to be at Meridian, ministering to students. Jesus changed my life when I was a teenager and I love watching Him still change the lives of students today!
